Creating the
song "No Time for
Naysayers"
"Our story idea of No Time For Naysayers starts off as a very cool film noir-style short film, but you can't see how the story ends until you come to the No Time For Naysayers live event.
With that in mind, I had written a song that I felt summed up the story in a very emotional way, and I thought it was the perfect way to bridge our cinematic and theatrical story worlds.
I pitched the idea to Jen to see if she would not only record the tune, but act in the film and perform the song live on stage in front of an audience. A tall order to be sure, but her eyes lit up and she was all in. She totally understood the mood and vibe of the story, and before long we were recording a song that is playful, seductive and totally Jen!"
